[NIA] Building an AI Agent Service to Support Barrier-free Kiosks

To improve information accessibility and user support for its barrier-free kiosk support program, the National Information Society Agency (NIA) built an AI Agent-based consultation service within its unmanned kiosk UI platform. Using Serengeti AI Agent Studio, we delivered a tailored service environment that combines RAG on internal knowledge data with AI Agent capabilities.

An AI Agent-based Guidance System for Barrier-free Kiosk Support

As NIA ran its barrier-free kiosk technical support program, it needed a way to provide more accurate and efficient guidance on related regulations, guidelines, and support procedures. In particular, it required an AI Agent-based service that understands queries and finds the right information from internal knowledge data, rather than a simple FAQ chatbot.

Implementing a Knowledge-based AI Agent and Efficient Operations

The key challenge was to quickly implement an AI Agent service that delivers tailored responses based on barrier-free kiosk information and can be applied in a real operating environment.

  • AI Agent-based service: An AI Agent-based consultation service to handle Q&A and guidance on the support site

  • Use of internal knowledge data: An accurate agent response system using internal materials such as guidelines, operating information, and support procedures

  • Efficient operating environment: A stable environment that reduces operating costs and management burden after launch

Implementing an AI Agent Service with Serengeti AI Agent Studio

With Serengeti AI Agent Studio, we implemented an AI Agent-based consultation service on the unmanned kiosk UI platform, combining RAG on internal knowledge data with a serverless operating environment.

  • Fast AI Agent implementation: Provided an environment to quickly design and configure AI Agents tailored to the support site

  • RAG-based knowledge integration: Connected internal knowledge data to the agent so it can search and use the information needed

  • Serverless operating environment: Minimized agent service management and cost through an efficient operating structure

Faster AI Agent Implementation and More Efficient Operations

NIA can now deliver the guidance services needed for its barrier-free kiosk program more quickly in the form of an AI Agent, with a response system built on internal knowledge data. The serverless operating environment also improved the operational efficiency of the AI Agent service and laid the groundwork for future feature expansion and enhancement.

  • Shorter implementation timeline: Secured a foundation for building tailored AI Agent services faster

  • Better use of RAG: Enabled accurate responses by connecting internal knowledge data to the agent

  • Higher operational efficiency: Reduced agent service operating burden and costs with a serverless environment
