[Daejeon University] Building a PaaS Platform for Converging Medical and Bio Services

To strengthen the global competitiveness of the smart healthcare industry, we built a Platform as a Service (PaaS) that supports the development, deployment, and operation of metaverse-based bio and healthcare IT/AI converged services.

Background of the PaaS Platform for Bio and Healthcare IT/AI Converged Services

To respond to the Fourth Industrial Revolution and lead the bio-IT converged healthcare field, Daejeon University launched its Smart Healthcare VR Center in 2018. Since then, the center has supported the development and validation of VR products applicable to the healthcare and bio industries and pursued the commercialization and certification of smart healthcare VR products.

Limitations of the Converged Service Environment

Various medical services had been operated separately, making it difficult to build a converged service environment.
